St. Vincent de Paul in Glendale Heights, Illinois is looking for an Executive director with the desire to serve those in need. This role includes the management of five thrift store managers, internal financial, HR, and warehouse operations. This is a full-time salaried position reporting to the Board of Directors.

Founded in 1833, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide organization of lay Catholics, following Christ’s call to serve the poor, the suffering, and the deprived.

Qualifications:

· An experienced Stores' Manager to oversee five thrift stores that serve those in need

· Ability to manage store leaders, personnel managers, and warehouse operations

· Ability to collaborate with a non-profit Board of Directors to implement a yearly plan

· Dedicated leader, with management, organizational and interpersonal skills

· Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related experience

· Knowledge of fundraising and donor relations unique to the non-profit world

· Excellent oral and written skills

· Prior retail experience (we sell clothing / housewares / toys / other thrift store items)

· Ability to speak Spanish is beneficial

Pay: 65/year to start
