Job description

You will work as part of a crew with a Supervisor at job sites located in Kroger retail locations to disassemble, modify and reassemble greeting card fixtures. You will travel in a company vehicle to several job sites each day. Overnight travel throughout the project is required. Part-time, non-exempt position.

Hotel accommodations and per diem are paid by the Company when overnight travel is required.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT TO END APPROXIMATELY 2/15/2024.

• The starting pay is $15.80 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment
• After 6 months of employment the pay rate will increase to $16.70
• After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $17.50

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute fixture revisions per direction of the Installation Supervisor.
• On site fixture assembly
• Coordinate pick up with Supervisor for workday.
• Use small manual and powered hand tools.
• Repair fixtures as directed.
• Conform to American Greetings policies, procedures, and safety directives.
• Follow store/chain guidelines in matters of store security.
• Complete assigned paperwork and administrative requirements correctly and on time.
• Frequent overnight stays and/or travel throughout Project.
• Must have a good driving record to share driving responsibilities
• Works exclusively for the Special Projects assigned by the Installation Supervisor
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

• The qualified candidate will have prior successful retail, merchandising and/or fixture experience.
• Additional experience in assembly, building fixtures, using power tools, product control, reading and understanding plan-o-grams.
