Position Summary

• This position is responsible for the design, specification, procurement, configuration and installation of all networking infrastructure (switches, Routers, WAN (MPLS & SD-WAN), LAN, WLAN, DIA and all related equipment and services) and upgrading or replacing as necessary to avoid capacity issues and End of Life or End of Support situations.
• This position is also responsible for the design, specification, procurement, configuration and installation of all Cisco IP telephony infrastructure (CUCM, CCX, Unity Connections CUE, Presence, ESRST and ILEC CLEC connectivity) and upgrading or replacing as necessary to avoid capacity issues or EOL or EOS situations.
• This position will provide leadership, direction, coaching, mentoring, and management of the Infrastructure Engineer Team. Additionally, this position will collaborate with the Helpdesk Support Analyst to ensure we have appropriate business continuity, backup, security and network monitoring in place to support our businesses.

Essential Functions

• Design, Procure, configure and install all necessary networking infrastructure equipment required to support our business applications and maintain and upgrade or replace as necessary to avoid EOL or EOS situations in all Curbell locations (LAN, WAN, WLAN, and DIA). Ensure that we have adequate capacity available for prompt expansion of our internal network.
• Design, Procure, configure and install all necessary Cisco IP telephony equipment to maintain our internal and external telecommunications infrastructure in all Curbell locations (Call Managers, UCS Servers, Unity, SRST, UCCX, PRI’s, SIP, CUBE, ILEC CLEC connectivity) and upgrade or replace as necessary to avoid EOL or EOS situations.
• Provides training and direction to Infrastructure Engineers and Helpdesk Support Team on areas of knowledge required to perform their daily support activities related to networking, infrastructure and telephony. Delegates support activities to Infrastructure Engineers to maintain our network in optimum operating condition.
• Responsible for annual infrastructure budget, 5 year plans, telecommunications expenses and resources needed to manage our infrastructure.
• In collaboration with the infrastructure engineers, develops policies and procedures to protect our network from external and internal threats, maintains appropriate onsite and offsite backups of our critical data for business continuity, and implements the appropriate monitoring technologies required to manage our network.
• Identify, recruit, and retain top performing employees. manage nonperforming employees in accordance with company policy. Manages with the intent to motivate, train, and develop. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding progress of work and performance. Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, use sound judgment, exhibit autonomy, and execute.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Computer networking: 3 years (Preferred)
• LAN: 1 year (Preferred)
