Description:
- Learn Management responsibilities of required paperwork, inventories, customers, vendors, and facility operation
- Communicate with the customer (driver/operations) to determine their needs and advise of the work done.
- Complete repair orders, time cards, and other required documents
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections
- Diagnose mechanical problems
- Repair Class 6,7,and 8 vehicles, including engines, HVAC, instruments, brakes, frame, steering, suspension,tires, wheels, drive train, electrical system, trailes, refrigeration, liftgates, and other componets
- Drive vehicles as required
- Perform emergency road service(No road side repairs). Only parking lots and secured locations.
- Wash equipment
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly shop
- Participate in process and quality improvement activities.
What we are looking for:
- Desire to learn management responsibilities
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
- A valid Drivers License
- Excellent working knowledge of computers and diagnostic software
