Job description
Coaches and supervises staff in support of the Service Line Director or Practice Manager. Arranges staff schedules, coordinates assignments and delegates work to support an efficient and effective front of house operation of the practice as well as completes payroll. The Team Leader serves as a role model and mentors staff, incorporating the use of evidence based practice while ensuring patient and family-centered care while maintaining sound fiscal stewardship. Reviews patient complaints, responds to the complaints and coaches and counsels staff. Acts as a resource to staff on technical issues and provides on-the-job training or oversees orientation of new staff. Provides input to leadership on employment decisions of supervised staff and conducts performance appraisals. Identifies performance improvement opportunities for areas of direct oversight (medical receptionists, medical record clerks, referral coordinators). Understands departmental budgets and decision impacts. Takes a work assignment as needed.Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate, minimum 5 years in leadership or in the medical field, or a combination of the two.
