Rockstar Prep 4 Kids, Inc. an early learning center in Prince Georges County, Maryland that is seeking qualified individuals to work in our Pre K and infant programs. We are currently in search of passionate and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to join our child care team.

• Candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive and appropriate environment for the children in their group, and for developing programs that meets the intellectual and emotional needs of children in their care.

• Establishing and maintaining a classroom carefully curated to feature STEAM-inspired toys and teaching tools, to prepare children for elementary school and future challenges.

• Creating a community-oriented experience for our families inspiring children to be lifelong learners.

• Ensuring the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with the teachers, aides and other center staff to meet the individual needs of the children in their programs as well as the families and school community. Rockstar Prep 4 Kids, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Pass background check

• Pass drug test upon hire and random testing

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs

• Have reliable transportation to the assigned shift

• Actively participate in the cleaning and food prep for the students

• Actively participate in the physical set-up and breakdown of the center each shift:

• Lift a minimum of 25 lbs

• Move furniture/equipment carts to and from storage area

• Prior childcare experience is a plus

Job Duties:

• Assist with the food prep and cleaning for the children

• Assist and supervise all children at all times

• Maintain center according to MSDE OCC regulations and company policies and procedures

• Communicate effectively with all parents, supervisors, staff and office personnel

• Present a positive and professional image

• Engage with children at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.60 - $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and children are pre-screened prior to entering the building. All interviews are done in person and accepted candidates must present a negative covid test and/or vaccination card prior to start of employment. PPE supplies are provided for staff.

• COVID-19 Training (Preferred)
• 90hr Chid Development Certificate or Valid CDA (Preferred)
