About the Role: We are looking for a Talent Strategist to join our Talent Planning Team within the Medical Products Division (MPD). In this role, you will partner with the MPD Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to create talent strategies and deploy talent solutions to support the MPD technical and supply chain organization to enable the efficient development of new products and sustainment of reliable commercial product supply; this includes gaining a deep understanding of the drivers of business success and completing an assessment of business talent needs and translating those into prioritized Talent Planning solutions and leading the coordinated delivery of those solutions.

Create talent strategies that support talent needs within the MPD technical and supply chain organization. In collaboration with HR Business Partners and leaders, identify short/mid/long term talent needs. Utilize current processes, data, and systems to determine talent gaps and proactively identify solutions

Be a strategic partner and systems thinker with an ability to connect people to talent strategy and processes across the Business, helping Leaders be successful. Provide healthy challenge and effectively influence talent processes and leaders to ensure the business has the right people in the right roles

Understand external trends in the marketplace and leverage industry best practices to provide optimal talent solutions to meet business needs

Develop and sustain a clear understanding of the Associate and Leadership capabilities that are needed now, and in the future, to meet the needs of the Business. Perform a skills gap analysis to determine talent needs. Create a collective point of view on the state of talent across the Businesses which will inform the overall Talent Strategy

Create pathways to promote, champion, enable and support talent strategy initiatives, ensuring the right talent is aligned to the right work at the right time, fully incorporating the elements of our Enterprise DE&I Framework

Monitor the effectiveness of the talent planning processes through the voice of the customer, key process inputs and outputs and metrics to identify areas of improvement, leverage best practices and celebrate successes

Support HR initiatives related to Talent Management and Talent Development and determine how to effectively execute within the MPD technical and supply chain organization.

Establish clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and acts immediately to appropriately address negatively impactful or unfair behavior
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
-
Minimum of 5 years of talent planning experience or people leadership

Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices

Demonstrated success in the creation and execution of strategy and work within the Talent Life Cycle

Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into requirements and drive appropriate changes
-
Ability to help leaders navigate ambiguity, adapt to change and drive successful adoption of changes

Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, critically think, act decisively, manage multiple stakeholders, understand multi-Business dynamics

Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written and collaborate cross-functionally

Ability to influence and drive accountability

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Desired Qualifications:
- Project Management or Change Management experience
- Experience partnering with Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, talent strategy and/or Total Rewards
- Experience working with Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Technical
- Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. Locations not eligible for new remote work arrangements include: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
