The Role:

To have a dedicated person who can partner with hiring managers, gather industry knowledge and understand gaps in talent to effectively source qualified candidates, creating strong talent pipelines for our Company's current and future hiring needs. Provides full lifecycle recruiting to provide customer service for prospective employees throughout the recruiting process in order to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new employees and provide high-quality interactions throughout the candidate journey.

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist on our Divisional HR Team, you'll directly impact Edwards' growth and sustainability by attracting and hiring top talent.

This role partners with managers across the division to provide an exceptional candidate experience, leading a competency-based recruitment process that evaluates candidates against our high standards for performance, future potential, and Employer of Choice culture.


Location: This role will be physically based in the Hillsboro, OR area, with the option to work remotely 2-3 days per week.


What We Expect of You?

  • Manages full-cycle recruitment to include but not limited to:
    • Partnering with hiring managers to conduct a review of the job description.
    • Trains and assists hiring managers in posting a requisition on Applicant Tracking System (ATS) HR Link/ Success Factors. Manages hiring managers and their requisitions from creation to completion.
    • Constantly monitors open jobs, renews job postings and close requisitions as it is filled.
    • Responsibilities as needed for certain positions:
      • Screening resumes.
      • Schedules and performs phone and in-person interviews with candidates
      • Making recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Network, attract and source candidates through a variety of proven methods, including LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals and internal/external branding tools.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for HR Link, our internal recruiting system.
  • Fully utilize the Talent Framework, an important tool in our recruiting practices.
  • Ensure appropriate candidate management including AAP and OFCCP compliance.
  • Establishes, tracks, and reports key recruiting metrics with the utilization of the applicant tracking system.
  • Provides monthly report for Atlas Copco HR Management team.
  • Assists NACC HR Team, performs other duties as assigned.


Skills/ Knowledge/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and HR qualification.
  • 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in dedicated recruiting role.
  • 4 years general experience in Human Resources.
  • Demonstrable experience attracting and sourcing candidates, utilizing various platforms and methods.
  • Prior work utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) required.
  • Experience with SAP HR Link/ Success Factors preferred but not required.
  • Experience with AAP, EEO-1, Vets and OFCCP compliance reporting preferred.
  • Experience working with behavioral competencies in recruiting.
  • Solid computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good business math skills
  • Must be a "doer" displaying key behaviors: accuracy, ownership, focus, highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and have exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with change and agility.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the US (<10%)
