Systems and Reporting Analyst
ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT Responsible for the administration, configuration, and implementation of the 3rd Party Risk Management department systems, software, and reporting needs to enhance and support the 3rd Party Risk Management process. A general understanding of system’s applications and connection to business processes is necessary to better understand operational impact of the application. The incumbent will be responsible for providing specific application technical administration, coordinate vendor support, maintenance and application upgrades for all aspects of systems within the 3rd Party Risk Management Department in the system environments. The incumbent will be expected to provide technical support to other members of the 3rd Party Risk Management team and VyStar users aligned with VyStar Excellence. The position is an important role in ensuring system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability for 3rd Party Risk Management Systems. The Systems & Reporting Analyst reports directly to the VP, 3rd Party Risk Management and is responsible for carrying out daily activities to proactively support the 3rd Party Risk Management Program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Creates, maintains, and communicates training materials for system users to support the execution of their responsibilities and day to day operations within the 3rd Party Risk Management Program.
  • Supports the VP, 3rd Party Risk Management with access request management to systems.
  • Provides support and training to all systems users.
  • Administers and configures systems for optimum use by the system users in alignment and compliance with the 3rd Party Risk Management Program, with emphasis on data security and access management.
  • Supports the VP, 3rd Party Risk Management with the development and implementation of various reports for the 3rd Party Risk Management Program, following data integrity and quality control practices for accuracy.
  • Collaborates with the 3rd Party Risk Management team and users to create and implement efficient solutions and enhancements to 3rd Party Risk Management systems, within established change management and approval processes.
  • Liaise with ERM Management and Legal teams to create and implement opportunities for integrations and improved data sharing within systems.
  • Manages the Change Management process for systems within the 3rd Party Risk Management department.
  • Must be familiar with change control principles and have previous experience with these techniques.
  • Establishing, documenting and maintaining enterprise and vendor configuration standards and desktop procedures with comprehensive system documentation and security practices in mind.
  • Facilitates and executes the necessary application system upgrades in collaboration with 3rd Party Risk Management Managers. Works closely necessary teams to share information for problem solving and error resolution. Aid in the analysis of system issues and take the necessary corrective action within established guidelines.
  • Gather concerns and issues from users and report to management on all issues related to the 3rd Party Risk Management systems.
  • Consistently follow and apply formally documented operational practices (e.g., policies, procedures, etc.) to safeguard confidential information and to support the highest level of ethical standards.
  • Ensure various timelines and reporting requirements are consistently met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Candidate must possess knowledge and understanding of the change control/management methodology and project management fundamentals. Familiarity with standard system workflows and testing concepts of 3rd Party Risk Management Systems is required. Familiarity with different platforms, systems, protocols and commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the 3rd Party Risk Management field is preferred.
Education & Experience: Either a Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field OR 4 years' relevant experience is required. Associates Degree with related work experience may substitute for 4-year degree requirement. 3 years of experience in a 3rd Party Risk Management role is preferred or related position for management of 3rd Party Risk Management applications or related industry. Obtain necessary continuing education hours to retain professional certification(s) as applicable and continuously build individual knowledge.

Candidate must have strong organizational and time management skills to manage technical incidents and problems as well as other work that is assigned.
