Bring your skills to support our Code 50 Program and the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Activity Pacific at Command Pacific Fleet Headquarters (COMPACFLT) onboard Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

As part of the team, you will provide provide the technical expertise to the COMPACFLT N2 Mission Statement in support of the COMPACFLT Maritime Operations Center (MOC)/Maritime Intelligence Operations Center (MIOC), Offensive MIOC (O-MIOC), Theater Information Warfare (TIW) Watch, and the Pacific Federated Intelligence Federation (PFIF) construct.

The Systems Administrator will provide Tier-II/III support to assist in the technical planning, systems integration, operational verification and supportability and effectiveness of complex solutions and/or products.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical expertise and direct enhanced support to include but not limited to the following areas:
    • Tier 0/1 VTC scheduling and management
    • National Security Agency (NSA) VTC and scheduling and management
    • APIIN, BISES, BISON, and CF-KOREA VTC scheduling and management
    • Account processing for NMCI, CENTRIXS, VSE, JWICS
    • Application trouble shooting (Outlook, IE, Chrome, etc.)
    • Certificate Recovery for users (NIPR/SIPR)
    • IT Hardware Troubleshooting and connections (Cabling / Media Converters)
    • NMCI IT services and CTR processes
    • DISA services and support processes
    • NSA services and support processes
    • ONI HOPPER services and support processes
    • Special Access Program services and support processes
    • Information Assurance compliance processes
    • Cryptographic Management processes
  • Lead efforts to ensure coordination of daily administration of COMPACFLT JWICS network is completed to COMPACFLT standards.
  • Identify possible network and system enhancements and develop/execute project plans as directed by COMPACFLT N2.
  • Interact with COMPACFLT N6 to execute NMCI events (refresh, system upgrades) along with account requests and move/add/change requests.
  • Provide in-depth technical training and guidance to the military and civilian IT personnel.
  • Research, plan and coordinate all new devices and technologies on JWICS network.
  • Serve as primary lead for JWICS - DVTC (Tandberg) scheduling, to include providing technical expertise and administrative functions.
  • Coordinate with CPF ITC, HOPPER Chief and NMCI CTR to maintain server room
  • Provide Tier II/III support to troubleshoot outages affecting N2, N39, FIWC PAC DMIW, or JWICS
  • Research approved hardware, interface with appropriate vendors, request quotes from approved vendors, and provide documentation in order to execute procurement of IT materials
  • Maintain applicable equipment to ensure cabling is kept neat, rooms are kept clean, and all devices are properly labeled
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A final/active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • A DoD IAT Level II compliant certification
Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Experience providing technical and direct support as IT Helpdesk Tier-II/III specialist.
  • Experience with management of IT systems infrastructure and related processes.
  • Experience with JWICS network including account creation, workstation and server installation, server maintenance, network equipment maintenance and troubleshooting of network issues and JWICS outages.
  • Experience with DISA, NSA, ONI HOPPER, Special Access Program services and support processes.
  • Experience with NMCI refresh and system upgrades, account requests and move/add/change (MAC) requests.
  • Experience conducting IT training for personnel.
  • Experience with JWICS-DVTC (Tandberg) technical and administrative functions.
