Teaneck Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Center, a Covenant Physician Partner, is looking for a full-time Surgery Scheduler to join our busy team.

We are located at 1086 Teaneck Rd, 07666.

About the Opportunity

Working Monday through Friday, full-time, the Surgery Scheduler will contact patients to schedule and re-schedule procedures in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This individual will provide detailed prep instructions to patients and their families, as well as clarify any information prior to the appointment time. The Surgery Scheduler will verify insurance and advise patients of pre-procedure financial requirements.

The Surgery Scheduler must be able to work independently, utilizing critical thinking skills and have the ability to problem solve efficiently.

About the Candidate

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• One (1) or more years of experience in a medical front office, preferably with scheduling experience
• Computer proficient to include typing skills, ability to navigate multiple screens and software systems, Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree strongly preferred
