Job Description:
Responsible for planning, controlling and managing activities related to inventory control, shipping and receiving.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise Receiving, Stockroom and Shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage and distribution of goods.
- Ensure all products are packaged and delivered in accordance with Contractual specifications.
- Supervise personnel, providing day to day direction, setting priorities, assigning tasks and making operational decisions. Manage performance and development of individual direct reports.
- Communicates with parties inside and outside of own team to explain and interpret policies, practices, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Experience to include 2 years of prior related supervisor/managerial experience preferrabley in an Inventory Management setting
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Valid and current Divers License.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- TrakStar and Contol experience is a plus.
- Hazardous Materials Certification is a plus.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of various material handling equipment (Forklifts, Powered Pallet Jacks, WAV Powered Lifts).
