Job description
Supervises and coordinates all activities of workers engaged in the distribution of products. Organizes and oversees the gathering of products, checking of products, quality assurance and commitment to deadlines. This position must spend at least 50% of time performing supervisory work (not the work of subordinates).- Assigns motor vehicles and drivers for conveyance of customer orders. *Prepares work schedules to ensure that sufficient shift personnel are available for workload demands. *Reviews dispatch operations to identify technical and operational training need. *Performs the work of subordinate dispatch personnel as needed.
