Daily Responsibilities

Safety

• Ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure all tools are in proper working order.
• Ensure proper PPE is being used.
• Document any safety violation that may occur.

Quality

• Identify any problem areas and correct immediately.
• Ensure proper type and quantity of materials that are being installed.
• Ensure proper details are being installed.

Production

• Set crew goals at the beginning of each day.
• Measure against needed game plan that we have set in place.
• Identify ways to improve production.
• Document issues that affect production.
• Job site Conditions
• Debris is removed
• Materials and equipment are secured and protected.
• Report any discrepancies or changes that come up.
• Confirm tie-ins are done daily.
• Confirm drains are done daily.
• Flashing terminations.

Time

• Update project daily planner.
• Ensure accuracy and tuned in daily.
• Communication
• Discuss daily plan with the Customer.
• Ask the Customer they have any needs that we are not meeting.
• Discuss project conditions with the Project Manager.
• Turn in delivery tickets, inspection report or any paperwork to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Commercial roofing project management and experience.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; customer service.
• 5 years experience in roofing industry in management.
• 5 years experience as a manager or Supervisor.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient on Microsoft computer skills.
• Must have a fluent knowledge of materials, tools and machines used in the trade.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and contracts/work order for specific projects and materials.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Strong people skills.
• Bilingual preferer, not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Special Position Requirements

• Sit, stand, walk, climb and balance.
• Stoop, crouch and step over obstacles.
• Lift and/or move 50 lbs.
• Work in outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, cold/hot temperatures and humidity.
• Available to work extended hours.
