POSITION: Substance Abuse Therapist - IOP

LOCATION: Intensive Health - Elizabethtown, Kentucky

QUALIFICATIONS:

• TCADC, CADC, CADCA, LCADCA, LCADC, LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, CSW, or LPA licensure (required or eligible for certification)

• experience in substance abuse counseling and residential treatment (preferred)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:

• provide group, individual, and family therapy sessions

• determine appropriate treatment interventions for each patient

• collaborate with each patient on a treatment plan

• help patients set and achieve their personal goals

• maintain records and provide documentation according to Stepworks policies

• develop continuing care plans

• serve as the first point of contact for patients’ behavioral issues

• participate in four hours of supervision monthly

• be prepared for crisis intervention, first aid, CPR (training provided)

SHIFT: Monday - Friday
