Job Summary:

Marguerite Concrete is a full-service union concrete construction firm founded in 1989. We work throughout New England on a diverse array of private and public projects, from industrial and utility work to multi-family housing. We employ approximately 500 carpenters, laborers, ironworkers, and equipment operators and own and operate a large fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Estimators have a unique opportunity to learn the business from some of the best in the industry as they support our Senior Estimators and Chief Estimator in all aspects of quantity take off, pricing, and management of the estimating process to support continuous procurement of concrete construction projects.

Qualifications:

Seeking graduates with Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Estimating, and Construction Management degrees, or, significant related craft experience with equivalent analytical and technical skills, and 5-10 years of concrete estimating.

Individuals who have proven they can excel individually and in team settings in the office and have a desire to pursue excellence in estimating. Superior written and verbal communication skills, respect for colleagues and clients, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic are essential for success in our organization. Must be competent with construction plan take offs and interpretation of drawings and specifications. Proficiency with On Screen Takeoff, Excel, Procore, BlueBeam and MS Office required. Structural concrete construction and estimating experience highly desirable.

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

Primary work location is at our Hopkinton, MA office, in an office environment. Work may occasionally require the ability to walk or otherwise access unpaved, undeveloped, rough terrain and ascend/descend heights. Work environment may require occasional travel to various construction project sites or offices. Project sites can be dusty, dirty, hot/cold, and noisy, heavy equipment is often present. Work requires wearing safety equipment including hard hat, safety shoes and safety glasses when at construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
