Position Summary

Organize and direct activities encompassing the Stockroom. Coordinate these activities to ensure efficient utilization of warehouse, resources, and optimize the flow of supplies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervision of receiving, storage, issuing and handling items and materials in the stockroom while maintaining GMP compliant in the stockroom.
  • Supervise the daily operations across all shifts including performance, attendance, and individual evaluations.
  • Interact with plant management on operating issues relative to warehouse and inventory control that impact plant operations.
  • Commit to employee feedback and developmental processes.
  • Adheres to corporate trade compliance regarding import/export.
  • Maintains department schedules which support production without delays.
  • Plan and coordinate efficient transfer of materials to and from production and warehouse areas.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control procedures and documentation for all assigned inventory.
  • Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, regulatory requirements, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
  • Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities.
  • Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
  • Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career .At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $52,800- $132,000 and also includes an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

  • Ability to supervise activities of the stockroom.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and pc environments.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a warehouse setting.
  • Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
  • Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred with one to three years of warehouse experience or 5+ years of warehouse experience.
