State Tournament Rep with State Basketball Championship

(Weekends October - March, $20/hour + $.50 per mile reimbursement)

Fun, part-time position here for basketball enthusiasts who enjoy the energy surrounding youth sports. State Reps attend weekend basketball tournaments in their area to award prizes and invite winning teams to compete at the State Championship in March of 2022. The main tasks include collecting coaches contact info, taking team pictures, and posting team pictures on Facebook. Our office staff then uses that collected information to reach out to those teams about playing in the March State Championship. This is a great opportunity to get introduced and immersed in the sports industry and almost all of our Reps return each season!

We are an established sports tournament business offering this position which will cover approximately 12-15 weekend days from October through early March 2023. Each weekend will vary and may involve approx. 4-8 hours. Training for the position will occur in October. Details to be determined.

Qualified Applicants will possess the following:

- Basketball experience and knowledge of the game, through playing or coaching
- Ability to effectively speak to coaches and parents
- Solid organization skills with the ability to cover all scheduled games
- Own a smartphone with built-in camera(for pictures and social media posts)
- Own a car to drive to scheduled tournaments played throughout the Chicago area.
