Overview

The Staff Accountant will have the primary responsibility of performing various accounting activities. As proficiency is gained, this position will provide input on controls, new systems, and advice on efficiencies that can be attained.

Responsibilities

• 
  Manage cost accounting process and support operations on cost accounting topics
• Manage intercompany process and reconciliation
• Coordinate annual physical inventory process and reconciliation
• Participate in month-end, half year and annual financial closing cycles
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial results
• Prepare and analyze journal entries
• Conduct and review account reconciliations
• Streamline processes for efficiency and identify cost savings opportunities throughout the Business Unit
• Assist with external and internal control audits
• Assist in special projects as needed

Qualifications

• 
  BS/BA degree in finance or accounting
• 3+ Years of relevant accounting/finance experience
• Manufacturing industry & cost accounting experience
• Experience with complex ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and
• Attention to detail around producing high-quality products and meeting deadlines

Salary

• Pay ranges from $65,000-$75,000
