Staff Accountant

Direct Opportunity

Rate: $54K - 56K

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

• - Work closely with The Accounting Manager to handle the accounting and its related matters as assigned by the accounting manager including but not limited to the following: Reviews, codes and process A/P requests.
• - Handles inquiries from vendors.
• - Maintain A/P & A/R system records.
• - Complete bank Reconciliation.
• - Monitor tax payments.
• - Cash management including monthly cash flow statement updating.
• - Manages and audits petty cash and other expense reimbursement.
• - Audits employee expenses to ensure compliance with corporate policy and taxing before paying.
• - Prepares all reconciliations and year-end work papers pertaining to payroll and accounts payable.
• - Special projects as required.

Requirements:

• - Min. 5 years experience in Financial Accounting daily operations.
• - Word, Excel, SAP or similar system
• - 4-year college degree or higher in Accounting or related field.

- The employee is regularly required to walk, talk or hear.
