ModernHR is searching for a Staff Accountant to join a leading CPA Firm in Sherman Oaks.
Responsibilities: The Staff Accountant should have an understanding of financial statements, tax returns and other financial records as well as financial and accounting principles. The selected candidate will be someone who can be an integral and contributing member of the team and is looking to advance their career with a top-rated firm.
Staff Accountant Qualifications and Skills:
- QuickBooks TM & Quicken
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Forensic accounting a plus!
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel required
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Accounting Degree
- 0-3 years’ experience with general staff accounting
Salary/Benefits $50k-$70K
