Genesis Global Group (GGG) is hiring Staff Accountant- Hospitality

Essential Functions:

• Maintain the books for 11 hospitality companies
• Record daily sales for of 8 hospitality companies
• Record/review daily bank activity for 14 plus banks Bank
• Monthly Bank Reconciliations, including payroll bank accts
• Record Bi-weekly payroll
• Oversee the bakery tracker Intercompany A/R invoices
• Bill intercompany chargebacks
• Reconcile monthly general ledger accounts
• Constant communication with all restaurant managers to resolve various issues they may have
• 1099 Year End Processing
• Close financial books for all companies
• Analyze and correct monthly financial statements

Requirements:

• Accounting degree, preferred
• Staff Accountants must have a minimum of 1 -3 years’ experience
• Must be self-motivated and possess strong technical, analytical, and communications skills (both verbal and written).
• Must have Excel and data analytic skills
• Candidates with accounting/auditing experience in the Hospitality industry will be most strongly considered
