Role Summary

Responsibilities include design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of ERP and other business applications and solutions, in a hybrid environment. This will include architecting of the business solutions encompassing ERPs, corporate applications, SaaS, PaaS and on-premise application components and creation of solution design documents, functional requirements and test plans.

In this role, you can expect to have some of these responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, and tests process flows in support of multiple business projects with variety of application platform technologies including cloud services
  • In cooperation with Integration Architect, formulate strategies and design application solutions to enable effective and flexible systems and application integrations
  • Architects applications that span and integrate existing application portfolio with custom, flexible solutions build with cloud services to streamline and automate business processes
  • Ensures adherence to the Development Framework
  • Partakes in regular review and update of the Development Framework, striving to ensure it remains relevant and supports the aims of development activities
  • Works with SAP Functional Team and other non-SAP application teams to ensure that application designs utilize the appropriate application development patterns and standards
  • May lead agile team to develop applications and solutions
  • Continually scans new and updated cloud development services to be used to optimize current application and solution portfolio
  • Acts as an application architect and collaborates with other architects to design new solutions and upgrade capabilities of existing solutions
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and standards
  • Builds and maintains a solid understanding of the application areas and the business processes supported
  • Develops standards and documentation templates
  • Facilitates regular knowledge sharing activity with other developers within the team

Now that you know what you will be doing, here’s what you need to do it:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree preferred or recognized qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable
  • 10+ years of development experience in an Information Technology organization utilizing a range of technologies and methodologies
  • Experience of integrating with an ERP platform (preferably SAP) and utilizing appropriate technologies for a given opportunity

Physical/Environmental Requirements

  • Position can be fully remote or hybrid at our IT office in Bedford Heights, Ohio (BHOH)
  • If fully remote there would be required occasional travel to BHOH for meetings
  • Potentially travel to client facilities in support of project work

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
