Position Overview

We are looking for dynamic, fun-loving, licensed and (hopefully) Spanish-speaking Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF) to help clients and their families thrive!

You will work closely with clients ages 0-3 and their families in-home, serving San Gabriel Valley and the Foothills area, suporting functional and independent speech, language, and feeding development.

How you will help build communication and grow families

As a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF) with Green Family Therapies, you will:

  • Engage parents and caretakers in participating in the communicative growth of their children
  • Identify the client’s needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differences
  • Follow EBP based treatment plans, ensuring your client’s progress
  • Complete documentation of client’s progress toward meeting established objectives using our online client management system. Say goodbye to hand written notes- yay!
  • Maintain an open line of communication with your Supervisor in order to support client progress
  • Observe and communicate needs in other areas of development to support the development of the whole child and whole family
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards
  • Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge

Traits needed to be successful in this role

  • A strong and evident passion for Early Intervention clients and their families
  • Spanish-speaking (highly preferred)
  • Previouspediatric speech and language therapy experience
  • A client-first approach to therapy
  • Strong desire for the personal and professional growth of yourself and others
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices in the field of Speech Language Pathology
  • Ability to communicate and effectively instruct clients of all ages, including in Spanish (preferred and additional compensation provided)
  • Accurately document client data from each therapy session
  • CA State RPE License
  • Master's degree in Communicative Disorders/Speech Language Pathology

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $43.00 - $48.00 per hour
