We are seeking Speech Pathologists, who are looking to make a difference in childrens lives.We are a licensed early education center (EEC) and offer services to children ages 15 months 6 years old. The SLPs role would be to assess and provide speech services to children with and without an Autism diagnosis in an integrated ABA preschool setting. The SLP would work alongside BCBAs to provide speech and language support for children in a classroom setting. Full time, part time, and per diem opportunities are available.Major Job Responsibilities: Provide Speech and Language services to children with and without an ASD diagnosis in a preschool ABA setting.
Collaborate, as appropriate, with other providers and natural supports of families and individuals served. Work closely with BCBAs and Clinical Director to implement services and strategies that carry over in the classroom setting throughout the day and to the home environment. Conduct assessments and write treatment plans for insurance authorization and provide ongoing documentation as needed to insurance companies. Attend and contribute to clinical and non-clinical meetings and trainings.
Complete initial evaluations for any clients who have been referred for services. Provide support and training as needed to classroom teachers and other staff working in the center-based ABA programs.Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology, knowledge and experience in the field of child development and autism with working knowledge of treatment models. Current Massachusetts Speech and Language Pathology License required. Preferred experience working as Speech Pathologist after licensure obtained.
Preferred experience working with individuals (children, youth and/or adults) with autism and other behavior related disorders. Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational skills and flexibility. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
