ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Requirements:
- Active licensure in Washington as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Valid credentials from the Department of Education in Washington
- Liability insurance coverage
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in schools (preferred)
Responsibilities: As a Speech Language Pathologist with ProCare Therapy, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students with communication disorders. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students' communication abilities and needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and therapy interventions
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and success
- Monitoring and documenting students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Participating in meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) development
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Washington
- Experience working with children and/or adolescents with communication disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Proficient in using technology for remote therapy services
