The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ caring for both the Pediatric and Geriatric populations. We are looking for a devoted and caring Speech Language Pathologist to join our team!

Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with other departments and the Rehab Department
- Complete evaluations and all necessary documentation
- Provide recommendations supporting communications/assessments
- Provide speech therapy as outlined in treatment plans and prescriptions
- Offer treatments that help improve patient’s speech and/or dysphagia and overall ability to communicate
- Independently manage workflow which includes allotting time for treatment documentation of individual and group treatments and notes in the electronic records system
- Will treat both geriatric and pediatric population (mentorship/training available if requested/interested)

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) therapy program- new grads welcome!
- Current state licensure
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn quickly
- Dept of education certified in NJ preferred
- Background/experience in Geriatric (specifically a Skilled Nursing Facility) and Pediatric population preferred but not required
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities and ability levels
- Creative problem solving skills
