Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated School-Based Social Worker who can effectively support the social and emotional needs of students in a remote learning environment. As a Remote School-Based Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing counseling, crisis intervention, and resource coordination to ensure the well-being and academic success of students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling services to students through video conferencing platforms.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
• Offer crisis intervention services to students experiencing emotional distress or challenging situations.
• Connect students and families with appropriate community resources and services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student interactions and progress.
• Participate in virtual meetings and consultations with colleagues and supervisors.
• Stay informed about best practices in remote counseling and implement them in daily work.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Valid social work license or certification (LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent).
• Experience working as a school-based social worker or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology for remote counseling.
• Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
