Responsibilities for the Staffing Scheduler:

• Provide individuals, families, and groups with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Services include advising family caregivers.
• Provide patients with information and counseling, and make referrals for other services.
• May also provide case and care management or interventions designed to promote health, prevent disease, and address barriers to access to healthcare.

Qualifications for Staffing Scheduler:

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work
• Preferably a LSW but a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work will do.
• Prior work with elders in a community or long-term care setting is preferred
• Must have skills in communication, assessment, and social work methods and techniques.
• Should be able to work effectively with a variety of disciplines in an individual and team setting
• Have a working understanding of social systems along with the ability to implement pertinent state and federal regulations.
