Responsibilities of a Social Services Manager:

• As a Social Services Manager at Ocala Oaks Rehabilitation Center, you will serve as an advocate for residents and patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will coordinate their admission, plan of care, treatment goals, discharge planning, and have administrative authority and accountability for the provision of their psychosocial needs.

Qualifications for a Social Services Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Work (BSW) or related field required, such as Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Gerontology, Special Education, and/or Rehabilitation Counseling.
• Social Worker license in the state of Florida a plus (i.e., LBSW, LSW, LCSW, LMSW, etc.).
• One (1+) years’ supervised social worker experience working directly with individuals in a medical / health care setting required.
• Prior Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or related healthcare social work experience strongly preferred.
