Coury Hospitality is looking for a Social Media Manager for the beautiful NOUN Hotel on Historic Campus Corner steps from the University of Oklahoma! The NOUN Hotel is a new addition to the Coury Hospitality portfolio and boasts 92 beautiful rooms, a three-meal restaurant, and a rooftop bar. We'd love to welcome our next experience curator to our team SOONER than later. BOOMER!

Ideal candidates for this position are hardworking tech-savvy individuals, who are willing and able to use all visually-driven social media platforms, able on top of the latest social trends and developments, have excellent creative writing and editing skills, with lots of experience creating dynamic reels! The ideal curator for this team has 2-4 years of experience in social media management of multiple accounts with demonstrated expertise in content creation.

Expectations

Manage digital asset database through the upkeep of releases, images, videos, brand assets, etc.

Serve as point of contact for photo shoots.

Serve as on-property brand ambassador ensuring all brand items are accurate and representable of brand guidelines.

Ideate guest experiences alongside the operations team.

Attend local educational and networking events to increase knowledge, skills, and brand awareness

Build and implement a social media game plan for the brand(s) using industry research, digital benchmarking, target audience identification, and setting clear goals.

Develop and execute a plan to grow the online presence of each brand’s channel.

Champion social media marketing and day-to-day activities

Maintain online digital presence through upkeep of imagery, business information, etc.

Respond to online reviews as needed.

Create and deploy newsletters routinely.

Assist in distributing outlet menus online.

Conduct online audit routinely to ensure online information is up to date.

Assist in and executing social media paid campaigns maximizing ROI.

Assist in managing paid advertising campaigns.

Requirements:

Essential

1. 1-2 years in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or other field-related experience.

2. Computer literate, and comfortable with applications such as Outlook, Microsoft software, and design tools (such as Canva and Adobe applications).

3. Understands social media KPIs and application to the overall strategy.

4. Displays knowledge and understanding of social media platforms relevant to the industry, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.

5. Has a creative eye for capturing quality photography/videos and the ability to make minor edits.

6. Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, and can pick up new tools quickly.

7. Maintains exceptional communication skills that effectively communicate information and ideas through a verbal, written, and visual format.

8. Takes ideas and sees them through. Follows directions thoroughly, multitasks well, and practices superior time management.

9. Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead in content development, creation and editing of content, online reputation management, and capturing on-site activations.

10. Can easily and naturally promote brand advocacy through relationships, online and off.

11. Demonstrates winning social customer service techniques by being a clear thinker, remaining calm, and resolving problems using good judgment, empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolution.

12. Maintains personal social media profiles professionally.

Desirable :

1. Previous experience in managing business social media profiles.

2. Previous experience in the hospitality industry.

3. Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.

4. Previous experience with social media software such as Facebook Business Manager and other social media dashboards.
