- You must have previous experience Operating Skid Steers, Wheel Loaders, tractor's or Salt Trucks
Responsibilities and Duties
- Shoveling snow from driveways and sidewalks using hand shovel or hand pusher
- Salting sidewalks with walk behind salt spreader
- Loading and unloading bags of salt weighing up to 50 lbs each
- Ability to work long hours and endure the duration of the weather event.
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather (rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow, mixed precipitation, wind, etc.)
Ability to schedule work around previous scheduling conflicts
Qualifications and Skills
- Most snow removal operations is done in the overnight hours so dependability and reliability is a must!
- High attention to detail
- Be on call for emergency snow removal needs
- Be able to report to work promptly at the designated time
- Keep an open line of communication with the Snow Operations Manager
- Reliable transportation to report to predetermined site
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
