The Mendon-Upton Regional School District is seeking a dynamic candidate to fill the role of an SLPA.- Assist the SLP during assessment of students (e.g., setting up the testing environment, gathering and preparing materials, taking notes as advised by the SLP, etc.)- Provide services through a variety of service delivery models (e.g., individual, group, classroom-based, co-treatment with other disciplines) as directed by the supervising SLP- Document student performance (e.g., collecting data and calculating percentages for the SLP to use; preparing charts, records, and graphs) and report this information to the supervising SLP in a timely manner- Provide training and technical assistance to students, teachers and families in the use of AAC devices- Adhere to all applicable state laws and rules regulating the practice of speech-language pathology- Adhere to the responsibilities for SLPAs specified in this scope of practice document and in state requirements- Deliver services with direct and indirect supervision provided by the supervising SLP- Conduct oneself ethically within the ASHA and state ethical codes- Provide culturally responsive services while communicating and collaborating with students, patients, clients, the supervising SLP, colleagues, families, caregivers, and other stakeholdersjohnandkristie.com is the go-to platform for job seekers looking for the best job postings from around the web.
