A temporary facility will be opened in late Spring 2023.With an official opening in the first-half of 2024, Harrah’s Columbus, NE will feature a one-mile thoroughbred race track, immersive slot machines, & a variety of table games to try your luck.

Harrah’s Columbus marks the first Caesars destination in Nebraska. The property will feature a 1-mile thoroughbred track, which is the longest one in the state. The vibrant casino floor boasts 500 slot machines, a variety of tables games and a Caesars Sportsbook.

Coming to Harrah's Columbus, the Caesars Sportsbook is a prime location to catch all the sports action. Restaurants like The Brew Brothers are a stop for a delectable range of burgers and dishes. The Wishbones bar will be conveniently located on the casino floor, so you won’t miss out on any of the fun.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively patrols assigned sections looking for opportunities to surprise and delight guests, While, enhancing guest’s slot entertainment experience by creating a fun, high-energy environment through the celebration of slot wins and building players’ perception of luck.
• Displays attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each “Moment of Truth” interaction throughout the shift.
• Develops customer loyalty by delivering unparalleled guest interactions as directed by company trained initiatives.
• Clearly communicates functionality of Slot Floor (i.e., Fast Cash - ticket in/ticket out).
• Responds to the right customers in the right order for service requests including slot dispatch, slot candle lights, radio, and customers while meeting or exceeding department service standards.
• Verifies and countersigns hand paid jackpots.
• Resolves guest complaints through the use of “Service Recovery” with a sense of urgency and empathy with approved levels of authority.
• Keeps slot areas clean, secure, and well maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 19 years of age.
• Must demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency.
• Must be able to add, subtract, and multiply large amounts of money at a rapid and accurate rate.
• Professional appearance, excellent personal hygiene and phone etiquette is a must.
• Courteous, friendly, outgoing personality is essential.
• Good organization and communication skills required.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is necessary while working in a loud, fast-paced environment.
• Constant public contact with frequent interruptions.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

May be subjected to high noise volumes, flashing or bright lighting, and guest conflicts. Work in a fast-paced environment and will require all forms of dexterity and mobility throughout all shifts.
