Position Summary
The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of onsite AI engagements in the Mountain View, CA area.
The role requires class-leading customer engagement involving strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to empathize with and respond to customers' needs, problem-solving skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment.
Main responsibilities:
- While working with our local and off-shore teams, plan and monitor projects to meet deadlines, quality and budget requirements. Focus on continuous improvements.
- Represent and promote the TELUS International brand.
- Facilities and site property management along with vendor coordination.
- Recognize customer needs and proactively focus on fulfilling these needs through innovative thinking and collaboration with the onsite production team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to initiate and implement procedural changes and customized workflows.
- Coordinating with teams and partners to achieve project milestones and goals.
- Optimization through automation – provide innovative solutions to improve processes.
- Coordination of small projects and subprojects independently or in cooperation with Project Managers.
- Client communication (intercompany and external).
Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years of project management experience
- Facilities management/ site management experience.
- Process creation, adaptability, thinking on one’s feet to solve new and complex problems efficiently and with excellent communication.
- Experience using Excel or Google Sheets to analyze data, including using basic formulas and creating pivot tables.
- Project administrative and financial tasks.
- Vendor coordination.
- Experience in project financial and tracking cost incurred.
- Excellent leadership and time-management skills.
- Ability to optimize tasks and processes.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Problem solving skills.
- Innovative approach.
- Proactivity.
