Generator Service Technician
Area Energy & Electric is seeking self-motivated, highly organized individual to fill a Generator Service Technician position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generator Yearly Maintenance
- Trouble Shoot
- Generator Installation
- Ability to Communicate with customers
- Ordering parts
- Submit and handle warranty claims
Qualifications
- Electrical experience required
- Mechanical abilities a plus
- Education - High School Graduate
Position Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently on own
- Company will provide needed training
- Be reliable to your employer
- Be at work on time
- Work by yourself or as a team
- Be flexible when daily tasks change
- Clean Background and favorable Driver's record

Working Conditions
This is a full-time position
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May be required to wear safety equipment including but not limited to; hard hat, safety vest, safety shoes, high visible clothing. The employee will need to make sure they are able to use office equipment such as but not limited to, computers, phones, copies.
