Shipping and Receiving Technician

Must meet New Jersey Licensing Requirements and be at least 21 years of age

NJ Firearms ID Preferred

About the Job:

Sporting firearms retailer has an immediate need for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Technician to perform our most important task – get our products into our customer’s hands!

Responsibilities:

Maintain, with 100% accuracy, the ATF Bound Books by recording every acquisition and disposition of firearms &/or interchangeable ammunition

Prepare/protect, package and ship all products

Receive, verify and log all incoming packages

Tag and direct incoming firearms for processing as appropriate

Update applicable spreadsheets and databases as necessary

Work with Import/Export Division as necessary

Work with Gunsmithing Division as necessary

Assist with firearms inventory

File claims with commercial carriers for damages as necessary

Order packing supplies as necessary

Experience/Requirements:

2 years previous Shipping & Receiving experience preferred

NJ Firearms ID holder preferred (but not required)

Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must be able to walk up and down stairs

Must be organized, dependable, accurate and be able to work independently as well as a member of our team

Salary is commensurate with your experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Andover, NJ 07821: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
