• 
  Participate in required instruction and training to become familiar with DFT (Demand Flow Technology) and its application at Nortek Global HVAC.
• Perform all inspection, set-up, and operation activities in conformance with Operational Method Sheets and pre-flight inspection forms.
• Operate equipment in production capacity meeting and/or exceeding all safety and efficiency standards.
• Sets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
• Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/processing operation.
• Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
• Inspect finished pieces for quality following company defined quality inspection criteria.
• Perform all required company defined safety inspections prior to equipment set up and operation.
• Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting problems or during trial operations.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe work environments around workstation.
• Accurately complete and maintain production and quality check reporting forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain production efficiency and meet plant/department operational needs.
• Maintains an attitude which consistently represents the organizational culture, including: the mission, vision and core attributes
• Other Ad hoc duties as assigned by manager
• Supports “Lean Business Enterprise” initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient MS Office user; specifically, Word, Excel and Outlook .
• Pneumatic screwdriver, forklift.
• Lock-out/Tag-out Training, Forklift Certification.
• Ability to read, write and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
• Use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of numbers including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, drawings, specifications, computer scanning devices, and adjustable measuring instruments.
• Must be able to check reports, forms, records, and comparable date and interpret data using basic skills knowledge.
• Must have the capability to work with minimal direct supervision and have the ability to identify the source of problems and appropriate solutions (troubleshoot).
• Proven knowledge and operation of CNC Turret presses, progressive die Punch presses, computer-controlled panel benders, press brakes, and Salvagnini CNC punch/panel bender cell in a set up function.
