It Works! Senior UI/UX Designer

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days (Tue/Wed/Thurs.) in the Palmetto, Florida office/2-days remote. Candidates must be local or relocate to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

The Senior UI/UX Designer works with a team of designers that apply user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand functionality, enhance the visual appeal of websites and mobile apps, and creates new experiences to improve distributor and customer interactions with IT WORKS! Oversees the gathering of requirements from users and stakeholders and guides development of the overall information architecture. A Senior UI/UX Designer will guide the creation for new features and experiences based on the results from user research and usability testing. Requires expert knowledge of visual design and wireframing/prototyping tools. Supports a team of designers in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, ultimately, transforming them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. Collaborating directly with the rest of the UI/UX team, product team, and technical team to understand scope, requirements, technical constraints, and customer needs to produce new features and improve existing experiences. Activities will include helping guide a team of designers, creating wireframes, interaction design, systems thinking, information architecture, prototypes, and assisting with agile process-related activities and research activities such as usability testing and user/customer research activities.

• Create high level and detailed wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Work closely with Developers, Marketing partners and Senior Management members located locally and internationally throughout all stages of the product cycle.
• Ensure that the design vision is implemented accurately during the development process
• Collaborate with different teams to define platform standards and policies.
• Foster the defining and sharing of UX design standards and guidelines and consistency across team members.
• Determine the best design solutions based on user feedback and business goals and help to determine overall direction.
• Identify gaps and problems in partner platform and propose solutions
• Contribute to the design and development of the IT WORKS! Design System.

• Bachelor’s Degree in UX design, graphic design, industrial design, anthropology, digital comms & multimedia, computer science, computer programming, human-computer interaction, information technology, psychology, or related field

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in UI/UX design

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Skilled in Figma design tool
• Hands-on experience working with Carbon open source design system
• Working experience in the direct selling industry
• Master’s Degree
