GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the direct supervision of the Service Sales Manager, the Senior Service Specialist is an exempt employee who sells service and repair opportunities to customers and maintenance contracts. This includes functional areas by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Moving to Senior Service Specialist requires:
- Completion (80% or higher on tests) of retro-fit courses and all other courses
- Give a satisfactory presentation to management of courses
- Oral discussion with management on all additional products within the classification
- Benchmark expectations - Maintain a minimum of 30 patrol activities daily. If you are not achieving the appropriate closing ratio or average ticket price, this number may increase.
- Spending 50% to 60% of the time outside of the office making customer visits
- Mentor to Inside Sales Specialist & Service Specialist
- Sales opportunities include those in Inside Sales Specialist & Service Specialist plus:
- Repair or replacement of face, neon, lamp, transformer, ballast, socket, wiring, time clock
- Consult/troubleshoot/repair of YESCO Electronics displays
- Repair of non-YESCO electronic display
- Repair of electrical components
- Repair of sheet metal components
- Repair/replacement of flag poles
- Repair/replacement of base/light poles
- Replace light fixtures and/or components
- Repaint cabinet/pole
- Graffiti removal
- Signage removal
- Cleaning
- Replacement of existing vinyl
- Panel changes
- Crane lift services
- Installation of Christmas lights/decorations
- Installation of energy-efficient lighting solutions/retrofits
- Installation of custom lighting systems
- Installation of energy management controls
- Installation of solar power or retrofits
- Supply and install banners
- Supply and install faces
- Maintenance agreements
- Media Services agreements
- IT issues related to EMS networking
- Average $50,000 minimum monthly sales volume and final management approval
- MaxLite 101 certification required
- NALMCO CALT certification required
- Demonstrate your ability to propose all Service lines of revenue (Service, Service Other, Maintenance, Extended Warranty, Creative Services, Leasing)
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Interacts with YESCO employees as needed
- Interacts with potential customers

Relevant experience involving demonstrated abilities in sales or any combination of training, education and experience which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Sales training and sales experience
- Knowledge of computer software and hardware utilization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in person and electronically
