Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) is one of the largest privately-held architecture and engineering firms in the Southeast, with offices located throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee.
GMC has an opening for Senior Project Manager to support on-going water infrastructure and environmental projects throughout the state in Atlanta, GA office. This position will manage water-related projects, prepare technical memorandums, designs, utility plans, P&IDs, specifications, permit documents, construction schedules, and studies as assigned.

- Capable of managing multiple complex multi-disciplined project
TECHNICAL
- Applies extensive diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields of water and wastewater utility projects
- Build client relationships and assist with specific client development using technical expertise
- Sets / Develops project scopes, budgets and schedules and manage projects as assigned
- Responsible for accuracy of technical aspects of projects
- Solves complex and novel assignments requiring new or improved techniques or procedures
- QA/QC
- Executes cross discipline checks and coordination
- Reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
- Recognizes and reports risk management issues to Vice President and Legal Department as appropriate
- Completes Project Closeout procedure

QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Master’s, BCEE, PMP, LEED AP preferred
- Engaged in life-long learning to maintain knowledge associated with Architecture / Engineering contemporary issues
