The Senior Project Manager is the primary Plan To Manufacture (PTM) Subject Matter Expert on Donaldson Oracle implementation teams. The role is responsible for translating any existing PTM processes of target Business Unit into accepted Donaldson Oracle PTM processes, incorporating unique requirements with existing Donaldson Supply Chain best practices. This role also leads the PTM elements of SIT/UAT testing development and execution, Business Unit personnel training, including generating all necessary documentation. The Project Manager Sr. is an active thought partner and process visionary who constructively influences the target Business Unit in adapting, adopting, and owning the post-implementation PTM processes necessary to successfully run the Business Unit.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Partners with business and IT personnel, across multiple geographies, to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Leverages understanding of business processes and systems to translate business requirements into functional requirements and design. Produces clear and detailed support documentation.
  • Supports Oracle EBS configuration within PTM and data conversions supporting implementation projects
  • Creates PTM test use-cases to ensure that solution meets functional requirements
  • Partners with business to conduct user acceptance testing
  • Produces relevant training documentation and provides necessary training to functional users
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or relevant area
  • 3+ years of Supply Chain Planning & Production Control experience
  • 2+ years of detailed experience developing & deploying ERP operational processes within the PTM space
  • Familiarity with Oracle Value Chain Planning applications (12.2.5+ preferred), such as Production Scheduling, ASCP, Advanced Planning Command Center, and Supply Planning Work Area.
  • Willingness to travel 25%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to problem solve and offer solutions to business technical challenges based on industry best practices and corporate standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, process mapping, and process development/deployment
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and listening skills.
  • Experience preferred with these Oracle applications: MES, WMS, Inventory, BOM, WIP, PO, Cost Management, and BI
  • Possesses industry standard Supply Chain certification (i.e. ASCM/APICS CPIM)
  • Familiarity with customized IT solutions and key plant system bolt-on applications such as DSI and Manhattan WMS
  • Strong process orientation and ability to quickly gain knowledge of business processes and capability to keep them updated on an on-going basis
  • Expertise in multiple processes such as demand management, supply chain planning, sales and operations planning, manufacturing, inventory, procurement, shipping, receiving, and warehouse management
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
  • Strong technical aptitude and solution architecture using standard Oracle tools and configurations
