Status: Reg., Part-Time (Non-Exempt) Location: Winnebago Tribal Facilities Department in Winnebago, NE 68071 Job Purpose & Position Overview: Maintenance and lawn care of all tribal grounds; Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Status: Reg., Part-Time (Non-Exempt) Location: Winnebago Tribal Facilities Department in Winnebago, NE 68071 Job Purpose & Position Overview: Maintenance and lawn care of all tribal grounds; Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the Winnebago Tribe’s core mission, vision, and values.
- Lawn mowing, tree & hedge trimming, removal of branches, twigs, etc., & cleaning of all tribal grounds, buildings, parks, powwow grounds & cemeteries, & around tribal office buildings.
- Snow removal around tribal properties and Winnebago Tribal member disabled senior citizen homes as needed.
- Apply fertilizer & weed killer chemicals when needed, watering & seeding as needed.
- Completes weekly local trash pickup on powwow grounds.
- In conjunction with Winnebago Wake & Burial service, must complete grave digging & burial, prepare rough boxes, & assist with burial services. All groundskeepers should be available during any funerals which are conducted, and when the need arises for any other related duties.
- May require irregular hours, including bad weather in all seasons.
- Assists in all maintenance of tribal equipment.
- All other duties as assigned by the supervisor, Facilities Manager or Physical Resource Director, when needed.

- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Driver’s license is preferred but not required.
- Must have good work habits and be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Must keep all matters pertaining to the program strictly confidential.
- Ability to relate to and understand people is required.
- Knowledge of operations and maintenance of all grounds equipment such as chainsaws, weed eaters, tractors, bush hogs, back hoes, skid loaders, manual transmissions and dump trucks.
- One year experience in lawn care & maintenance or experience in related field of grounds keeping
- Both indoor and outdoor assignments are involved with frequent prolonged exposure to inclement weather. All groundskeepers may be required to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays with frequently rotating shifts and duty stations. Assignments are subject to change without advance notice.

- Normal to heavy work which includes the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate lawn equipment and company vehicles.

- Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
