Role Summary
As part of the Individual Investors Marketing team, the Senior Experience Designer is responsible for creating industry-leading experiences on the T. Rowe Price Personal Investing website. They use various methods and inputs to understand client needs and solve for their challenges strategically and creatively. Partnering closely with public website product owners, developers, and marketers, they are involved in prioritization, planning, and decision making through to execution.
Responsibilities
- Translate business objectives into innovative and effective digital experiences that meet the needs of prospective and current clients.
- Collaborate closely with design team and cross-functionally with copywriters, content strategists, product owners, developers, researchers, and other stakeholders on marketing and customer experience initiatives.
- Use strong creative and technical problem-solving skills to ideate, prototype, design, and test solutions and experiences for the website. Possible opportunity to work on design deliverables for other channels.
- Work within AEM to test and validate designs and functionality.
- Work closely with AEM authors to ensure pages and designs are built as intended.
- Use research, customer insights, and data to inform design decisions.
- Contribute functionality and design specifications to global design system.
- Present ideas, solutions, and designs to key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- In depth experience designing for the web, including responsive design, within content management systems and global design systems; AEM experience a plus
- Strong user experience, interaction, and visual design skills; animation skills a plus
- Proficiency with design software, specifically Figma and Adobe Photoshop + Illustrator
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Demonstrated experience with user-centered and human-centered design approaches
- Understanding of accessibility best practices and familiarity designing for ADA compliance

Disclosure - Base salary range for the location(s) of:
Colorado Springs, CO = 81,000.00 - 138,000.00 USD Annual USD Annual
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado and S9427A when hiring in New York.
