Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments.
• Completes work you're leading on time with mentorship and support.
• Capable of using handheld and bench test equipment to obtain test data.
• May make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies.
• May also develop and maintain record keeping for experiment performed.
• Perform limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.
• Individual usually is assigned routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g. Product performance testing).
• Seeks guidance from more experienced individuals to improve quality of deliverables.

Qualification

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience working in a laboratory testing setting
• Basic computer skills such as word processing, data entry, excel, and e-mail
• Basic science and/or math skills
• Experience with troubleshooting laboratory equipment (e.g., Instron, etc.) and providing solutions
• Experience using good documentation practices
• Knowledge of GMPs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education/Experience

• High School Degree, or GED
• Previous experience working in a laboratory testing setting
• Basic Microsoft Office skill with Word, Excel, Outlook
