SummaryAs a Senior Engineer I, Operations you will support daily operations of the rolling mill by interacting with the employees, observing and collecting data along with feedback from the employees on the floor to be relied on to provide recommendations to improve the performance of the mill. In addition, this roll acts as the primary interface between the company's Richburg and its stainless conversion partners.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Material Science or related discipline 3 years of experience in process or product engineering experience related to Ni/Fe/Co- base super alloys, titanium and/or specialty/stainless steels or other related industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years or more hot rolling mill experience Lean manufacturing experience Advanced knowledge of production, operations, and materials planning, practices, and processes. Oracle experience a plus. Knowledge of rolling pass design with preference toward stainless & super alloy round bar, round corner square, hex and coil products.
