Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of Controls architecture for large multiple module systems
• Program control systems for cam, servo, and air operated stations, along with test and electrical devices
• Write PLC-to-device software interface, including implementation documentation and validation plan
• Programs HMI devices with ease of operation in mind
• Create functional specifications, flow diagrams, Bill of Materials, organize release packages, and update schematics.
• Participate in internal and customer design reviews, installations, and service calls when needed.
• Guide Electricians in wiring and codes. Support software validation requirements
• Labview Development, Fluent in the use of RSLogix and Siemens Step7
• Net development (VB.Net, C#, Visual C++)
• Robot programming and knowledge of latest RIA safety standards
• Precision motion control involving coordinated motion
• Machine vision specifying and programming
• Troubleshoot RS-232 and other fieldbus communications
• Able to communicate engineering concepts and ideas clearly (to builders, customers, and others)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related area
• 8+ Years’ experience in controls engineering

Salary: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
