Skills:
Requirements:
- Modify, and build control system programs, graphics and interlocks.
- Aid and assist in the development of construction packages relating to control systems.
- Responsible for the programming and troubleshooting of PLC's.
- Display a basic level of understanding of plant operations, maintenance and engineering principles.
- Take an active role with process automation industry trade groups to gain best practice guidance.
- Participate in Projects incident investigations and troubleshooting.
- Control design and implementation for optimization and capital projects.
- Providing Project coverage.
- Maintain plant historian and Windows databases.( if applied for project updating)
- Knowledge of virtual machines, control networks, and cybersecurity.
- Tuning DCS control loops.
- Knowledge and support of safety management and environmental compliance systems.
Requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Plant Control System technical experience.
- Able to design and implement basic control schemes as well as sequence logic.
- Control systems configuration and graphics experience: Honeywell and/or Rockwell a plus.
- Familiarity with various industry communication protocols (Ethernet IP, Profibus, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a plant environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Desired:
- Knowledge of Honeywell TDC/Experion, Bailey I90, Honeywell Fail-Safe Controller, and Allen Bradley PLC's.
- Knowledge of Cisco network equipment and fiber network architecture.
- Knowledge of Windows machines/servers.
