ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Direct and supervise field construction activities and staff
• Act as liaison with clients/owners, consultants, contractors, design professionals, public involvement and regulatory agencies
• Make sound, timely decisions for the benefit of the project and Company
• Prepare technical specifications and bid documents
• Consistently meet project deadlines while always maintaining a high level of quality
• Participate in strategic business development initiatives
• Participate in strategic marketing pursuits
• Some overnight travel required
• Represent the Company at industry events and conferences

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment and have a strong commitment to the Values of the Company. The candidate will have the ability to participate in complex and high value projects, work on multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality of effectiveness, make sound decisions for the benefit of the project and the Company, and be able to consistently provide a high level of client service and responsiveness.

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, from an accredited college
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona OR be able to obtain an Arizona PE license within 6 months of employment
• Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising field and office technicians on public works construction projects is required
• Possess a proven track record of ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining efficiency levels, and achieving client satisfaction
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and directions
