One Water Marine, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team at our headquarters in Buford, GA.

• Familiarity of accounting software and/or other programs
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Major Responsibilities for this Position

• Capability to analyze financial reports and records, both complex and simple
• Reconcile, review, and report daily cash activity and positions
• Reconcile company balance sheet accounts
• Participate in month end close procedures
• Maintain and review fixed assets and record depreciation
• Work closely with Regional Controller and Accounting Team
• Review & approve balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly multi state sales tax returns
• Support any financial and tax audits performed
• Coordinate complex projects and initiatives between accounting and company departments
• Analyze financial information and communicate it to the store managers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 2-5 years of demonstrated experience performing detailed accounting functions
• Familiarity with accounting in the boating industry is a definite plus
